Slave To Slave Communication

• In Ethercat, Slaves on the network cannot communicate with one another.

• In order to communicate – it must be done via a Master Ethercat (Maestro).

• It is basically defining which data is to be sent from one slave to another.

• This is used mainly for Safety networks where the Safety Master MUST have FSoE

data.

• This can be accomplished using the dedicated screen in the EAS Ethercat

configurator.
