TFTP Free Firmware

• Due to the native behaviour of the TFTP protocol – the Maestro ‘requests’ for

permission to download a file from the PC.

• Many PC’s, due to company policies, reject this request. Meaning – users often find

themselves in the need of updating firewall policies.

• This Firmware introduces ‘TFTP Free’ firmware. All can be done via SCP protocols.

• Needs an EAS update as well of course.

• Backward compatibility of course supported (Old EAS with new Firmware).

• This does not include GMAS (Which still needs TFTP for Download Firmware).
